Review notes
- Every question in this paper was legible on the scans; no question is published on a guess. Objective option sets were read from the scan image (not from OCR alone).
- Q.4 note: in the scan, the 'a' of "Na" prints low in the first option row, so options (A) and (B) read like "N₂ClO₃" and "N₂SiO₃". The intended compounds are NaClO₃ (sodium chlorate) and Na₂SiO₃ (sodium silicate) per the textbook's salts table, and the answer follows the table's use-match. This is recorded here, not hidden.
- Q.8 note: maltose is also a reducing sugar; glucose is the textbook's named example and the expected board answer. Recorded in solutions.md, not hidden.
- No numerical-calculation questions appear in this paper. The single derived expression (Q.2(ii) Kc) was derived twice independently with agreement; the two-pass checklist item is marked done on that basis, and this note is the log.
- Pattern verified against the scan header: Objective 12 marks / 15 minutes; Subjective 48 marks / 1 hour 45 minutes; Part-I 10 marks per question (Q.2, Q.3, Q.4); Part-II (a) 5 marks, (b) 4 marks (Q.5, Q.6, Q.7). Total 60.
Caveat
None. All items in this group are fully verified against the textbook and scans.
